We have an online archive of about 300 Midis categorised into Rock & Pop, Film--including an impressive James Bond Collection, and a much smaller TV section. MIDIs -What are they?

                                      MIDI- Musical Instrument Digital Interface: basically a midi is a sound file containing no vocals but a range of synthetic tones. A MIDI file is rhythmically identical to the previous song but the actual sound is different because the tones are matched as close as possible to a database of synthetic sounds. MIDIs are the bitmaps of sound files; they might not have the cutting edge quality of an MP3, but at a hundredth of the size, they're well worth that 10 sec download time.
